How to Hide the files and folders in Android?

We can hide the files and folders in our Android mobile without the use of any third party applications.I think that from the following steps you will understand how  to do this.

1) Open File manager on your Android mobile.

2) Open SD or Internal memory (Here I open SD card)

3) Open settings

4) Click show hidden files.

(Note : here you see that the hidden folders are carrying  a dot ( . ) at start)

5)  Select the folder you want to hide.

6) Now select  Rename .

7) Rename the folder with a dot at start.

8) After select done the folder will be shown as a hidden one.

9) Again open settings and select hide hidden files.

10)Your folder not found now till you again select the show hidden files.

(Note: You can also hide any type files by just rename it with a dot in start. If you hide a media file then it will not shown in other applications like gallery, video player,etc., until you change it as a normal one)
